It sends a piercing sound omnidirectionally. Cannot be heard by normal human ears, but sends frightening sound to horses, cats, dogs, mice, rats, birds etc etc. 25KHz presents a lower frequency sound than conventional 40KHz transducers and is more effective in animal and pest control.
